Job Description

The project is a new 3 storey home by GSP Design and Construction located in Sylvania, Sydney NSW.

We were tasked with the design, supply and installation of all joinery and bathrooms. The project consists of 2 kitchens,1 outdoor kitchen, 2 TV units, garage storage, home office, 5 wardrobes, 2 linen, laundry and 6 bathrooms.

Objectives

Through discussions with our clients, we needed to establish a style and theme bearing in mind the need to be practical and functional.

Modern minimalistic was the desired theme and to achieve this we used a variety of door finishes, benchtops and tiles. Kitchens and bathrooms were mostly monochrome matt polyurethane with a mixture of flat and modern shaker door styles.

Wardrobes, tv units and linen were done in a warmer satin polyurethane with a modern shaker door profile.

To keep with the minimalistic theme in the bathrooms we chose to use large floor to ceiling porcelain slabs to reduce the amount of grout lines.

With any new construction we had to work closely with the builders to ensure all services and requirements were in place during all stages of construction.

We were also involved with additional work including the spiral staircase treads and floating marble shelf at the entrance.

Outcome

The result was a very happy repeat client that was extremely impressed by the entire process and the outcome. 

This home will most certainly be enjoyed by our clients for many years to come. It was a great pleasure to be a part of such an amazing project and one we will be proud to showcase.
